Silipos Symes Gel Liner
As part of our ComfortZone product line we are pleased to add the Symes Gel
Liner, the first and only liner designed specifically for the Symes amputee. The
Symes Gel Liner is a Coolmax sock lined with the Silipos medical grade mineral
oil, that is in direct contact with the skin. This gel provides a nourishing
environment and conditions the skin. It is approximatly a 6 ply sock, and
provides the following benefits to the Symes (foot disarticulation) amputee - it
conforms around bony prominence, minimizes skin breakdown, reduces friction,
shearing, and abrasion, on the residual limb. Suitable for any Symes socket
design, and can be retro-fit to an existing socket!
